An insight into our world Interview: Industrial clerk
How did you find out about BJB?
Carla (1st year of training): I became aware of the industrial clerk position at BJB through a teacher who advertised for a few companies in the area.
Lia (2nd year of training): I became aware of the career field of industrial clerk through the recommendation of a family member. After intensive research, I found out that the apprenticeship offers a good basis for further training, studies, etc.
Jenny (2nd year of training): I came across the company itself through research on the internet. I still have positive memories of the quick and uncomplicated way to get in touch with BJB.
What are your tasks at BJB at the moment?
Carla (1st year of training): At the moment I'm in financial accounting, where I have a lot of tasks that I can put into practice using the knowledge I've already acquired at vocational school. My daily tasks include posting incoming and outgoing payments.
Lia (2nd year of training): I am currently supporting the sales department. My daily tasks include entering orders and preparing quotations.
Jenny (2nd year of training): I am currently allowed to get to know marketing. Among other things, I plan and design social media posts for Instagram. I also get an in-depth insight into our products as I complete sample boxes. When I have a bit of free time, I help with data maintenance in the CRM.
What do you particularly like about BJB?
Carla (1st year of training): Right from the start, I was impressed by the opportunity to organize myself and work independently. You can also contribute your own ideas.
Lia (2nd year of training): I am particularly impressed by the opportunity to go through many areas of a company during the course of the apprenticeship, with the aim of understanding the entire process chain at the end.
Jenny (2nd year of training): We trainees are involved in current projects right from the start, which quickly gives you the feeling of being part of the company. I also see a big advantage in the flexitime model and the 35-hour week, as you are always flexible and don't have to neglect your family, friends and hobbies.
Interview: Warehouse specialist Mechatronics technician Process mechanic
How did you find out about BJB?
Marco (1st year of training): I already knew BJB through a couple of family members. When they drew my attention to a vacancy, I applied. After completing an internship and it was a good fit from both sides, I started the 2-year apprenticeship as a warehouse specialist.
Tim (1st year of training): With the help of the IHK's apprenticeship atlas, I found the mechatronics technician position at BJB. By comparing the required knowledge and skills in the job advertisement, my interest was confirmed.
Ahmet (1st year of training): Through research on the internet, I became aware of BJB. I was able to apply quickly and easily via the application portal.
What are your tasks at BJB at the moment?
Marco (1st year of training): My daily tasks are dispatch work. This includes packing and loading goods. I also work in the goods receiving department.
Tim (1st year of training): On the one hand, training as a mechatronics technician involves the basics of tool mechanics, which is why I mill, turn and grind workpieces. On the other hand, I learn the basics of an electrician, which is why I retrofit the machines with new protection systems.
Ahmet (1st year of training): My main tasks include fitting and removing tools and preparing the material.
What do you particularly like about BJB?
Marco (1st year of apprenticeship): BJB has a very pleasant working atmosphere, which makes the work feel much easier. Thanks to the internship, I already knew a few of my colleagues, which made it easier for me to start my apprenticeship.
Tim (1st year of training): What I like best about BJB is the team and working independently on projects.
Ahmet (1st year of training): What I particularly like about BJB is the relaxed working atmosphere. The great team makes training easier and you enjoy going to work.
Interview: Tool mechanic
How did you find out about BJB?
Michael (1st year of training): I found out that BJB still had a vacancy for a tool mechanic from a job advertisement. I then contacted BJB via the website and applied via the application portal.
Yasin (1st year of training): I came across the BJB company with the help of the careers information exchange. I was told a lot about BJB's training program there, which increased my interest in the "tool mechanic" job profile.
Niclas (2nd year of training): After thorough research on the homepage, I was already able to get an overview of the various training occupations. By comparing the required knowledge and skills, I was able to find the right apprenticeship for me and apply quickly and easily on the application portal.
Timo (3rd year of training): I decided to train as a tool mechanic after completing an internship at BJB, which I liked. The work placement took away all my initial uncertainties, as I was able to get a rough idea of what to expect during the 3.5-year apprenticeship.
Hendrik (3rd year of training): The vacancy for a tool mechanic at BJB was brought to my attention by a friend who was also completing his apprenticeship as a tool mechanic. With the help of a short search, I quickly found the application portal to apply.
What are your tasks at BJB at the moment?
Michael & Yasin (1st year of training): In the training workshop, we start by learning the basics such as milling, turning and grinding workpieces, laser marking and machine maintenance.
Niclas (2nd year of training): My daily activities are very varied, which keeps things exciting. This is supported in particular by the in-house training workshop.
Timo & Hendrik (3rd year of training): In the last year of our apprenticeship, we are optimally prepared for the upcoming final exams, and we are greatly supported by the factory classes.
What do you particularly like about BJB?
Michael (1st year of training): I was particularly impressed by the good working atmosphere, which includes, among other things, the friendly and helpful interaction, as well as the quick and uncomplicated integration of new employees.
Yasin (1st year of training): Thanks to the in-house training workshop, where all trainees are located, they always help each other in order to be optimally prepared for professional life.
Niclas (2nd year of training): I appreciate the good working atmosphere among each other, which makes working much easier.
Timo (3rd year of training): At the company, I noticed the pleasant working atmosphere, the always nice and friendly colleagues, as well as the detailed communication of information.
Hendrik (3rd year of training): In addition to my tasks, I particularly like the reasonable training allowance.
